Hello Fellow Believers, Praise God for sending His Son. So
that, we who have repented from our sinful desires and have made him the Lord of
our life will be able to spend eternity with him in the Kingdom of God. I
prayerfully hope that the people that are dead in their sins in this world
received the real gift of Christ. I thank God for his GRACE in calling me out of
this world! He is so awesome, full of grace and mercy. The world has his grace
available now, but we as believers must let them know that He is coming with
judgment soon. The time is short for them to repent of their sinful desires and
turn to seeking his righteousness. Oh! What a miracle that it is when Jesus
covers us with His precious blood, and then God sees us with Jesus’ righteous!
Halleluiah!!! In December Revelation Celebration Ministry took the gospel, food
and clothing to the needy of Henry and Clayton counties. We met several people
prepared by the Holy Spirit to receive Christ into their heart. Praise, Honor,
and Glory to the Almighty God that
we serve.
We delivered several bibles to Seekers and gave people that
were in need, some coats for the cold weather. We provided 3930 lbs of much
needed food to 60 families that consisted of 172 people (63 children, 20 seniors
and 121 homeless people). Homeless are defined as people who live in the
streets/woods or in weekly rentals that are one missed day of work away from
being outside in the elements. We want to make sure that everyone who supported
us knows that we thank them for providing what we need to serve and for them to
know that they will be blessed by God, as he pours out His bountiful
blessings.
The word says that God loves cheerful givers. God’s word
also says in Isaiah chap 58:6-10 "Is this not the kind
of fasting that I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the
cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to
share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter
when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own
flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your
healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the
glory of the lord will be your rear guard, then you will call, and the Lord will
answer, you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I". I pray peace
and blessings on all of you.

Most of the hundreds of items (lap blankets for the VA Hospital Nursing Home
Veterans, Christian tracts, gloves, hats, clothing, shoes, scarves, sleeping
bags, candy and hygiene kits) donated by the loving people of Jones
Memorial UMC, recently, have already been given to the homeless and
less fortunate in our area. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

many, many people say they feel sorry for the homeless and particularly
those who are addicts. The sad thing is that VERY FEW HELP DO
SOMETHIING ABOUT THE PROBLEM. That’s what we are trying to do. Thank
you for being a person who “puts their money where their mouth is.”
It
has been so kind and gracious of you to support our ministry here at
Franklin’s Farm. Because of your assistance we continue to offer “hope
and help” to alcoholics and addicts who were homeless when they came to
us with a desire to recover. We house and feed them until they can
begin helping themselves. We help them get clothes and shoes, etc. and try
hard to help find employment. (and that’s really been difficult
considering the economical crisis). AND they are required to attend 5
Alcoholic Anonymous meetings a week.
The
residents attend the Bible Studies that our Bear Creek Church offers on
Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Each resident is taught the need for a right
relationship with Jesus Christ and the importance of becoming more mature in
the Christian life.
All
we seek to do
in our ministry is to honor Him and help others: THIS
IS NOT A MONEY MAKING ENTERPRISE! In fact, my wife and I
receive only $250.00 a month (and she does the cooking!). We get a little
discouraged sometimes, but the Lord always lifts us up and ESPECIALLY
WHEN FOLKS LIKE YOU SEND OFFERINGS TO HELP.
All
we seek to do in our ministry is to honor Him and help others. Thanks for

Praise the Lord,
We finally have our first lady...Trina. She was
released from jail on Wednesday and she wouldn't leave
without finding someone to help her so she called me.
I was at work so I sent Vicki and she picked her up in
front of the jail. Trina is so sweet and humble and
glad to be here. She has no family except her four
children whom she has lost connection with temporarily.
We normally ask a nominal fee of $1200.00 for six months
which just covers bare expenses for these ladies, however,
Trina can't give anything and we certainly aren't going to
turn her away. What we do in these circumstances is
see if we can get a sponsor(s) for the women. If you
or your church or class would like to sponsor Trina for
her stay here please contact me or Vicki. My number
is (678)877-5226. Vicki is (770)709-1233. If
we could get 10 people who would give 20 a month that
would cover her. Please pray and see if the Lord
speaks to you heart concerning this.
Our second lady, Angie, will be coming in on Monday if all
goes well. The other four will be following closely
behind her. I will be keeping you updated as to what
is happening here. We will be planning an open house
in the near future.

Our
ministry has never sought publicity: like AA, ours is a program of
"attraction, not promotion." However, when we are contacted
by the media for information about The Farm, which they can use in an
article, we consider that as a gift from God.
Recently
I was approached by Larry Stanley, Editor of the "Henry County
Citizen", an on-line news service for and about Henry Countians about
the possibility of doing an article. He did a wonderful job as you will see
in the article below (which is just a part of the newsletters January 7th.
edition). The "CITIZEN" reportedly has several thousand regular
readers. You will notice that Larry draws some of his material from an

Randy Rivers, known to many as Pastor Randy, operates Franklin’s
Farm Recovery Center in Hampton/Lovejoy. He touches lives of
others using personal life experiences and the grace of God.
As Pastor Randy captions in his email correspondence, “Randy
Rivers is amazed by God’s grace.”
“For three years, I was a disgraced fallen creature. I was
living in the woods
because I had no access to my own property. My addiction to
alcohol brought
me to the bottom of what life had to offer, however, now I have
come from
disgrace to grace.”
So
begins the story of Hampton resident, Randy Rivers. He
is the Pastor of
Bear
Creek Church and runs the Franklin’s Farm Recovery Center in the
Hampton/Lovejoy
area. “I spent three years of my life as an active alcoholic
and
lost everything I had,” says Rivers. “God led me to a 12-step
program
and
I got my life cleaned up, been sober ever since, and I feel I am
called to
help
those in situations like mine.”

Everyday
people whose lives have gone out of their control find comfort and
renewal with Pastor Randy. He is a life-long resident of
Hampton; a graduate of Henry County High School; and was ordained
into the ministry in 1963. Rivers served as a pastor in
Georgia communities for 38 years, ending up as the founding Pastor
of the Bear Creek Baptist Church in Hampton in 1979. Then his
world came tumbling down and in 1998, he found himself living in
the woods, living off whatever he could find, with no family or
friends to turn to for help.
“My main concern is the many people I disappointed during those
three years
of
active alcoholism. I began the Recovery Center in 1999 as a
way to help those who were in the same situation I found myself
ten years ago; alone with an addiction problem.”

A
refuge from the world around, the Franklin’s Farm Recovery
Center is tucked away in the Hampton/Lovejoy area with no signs or
publicity. “The people who come to stay with us need a place
where they are safe and have a sense of community. Many need to be
protected and that is why they come here,” explains Rivers.
Housing only 16 people at a time, the Center staff works
faithfully with the residents on being active in a 12-step
program; regaining self-confidence and learning life skills so
that they can return to the outside world. They are helped with
finding jobs and homes when they have been sober and shown they
can handle the responsibilities living in the outside world
demands.
“We've
helped 128 people during the past four years,” states Rivers.
“Not all have been success stories, but many have made it. If
they leave and fail, they cannot come back until they have been
clean for three months, but then we will help them start over.”
The Center receives referrals from various treatment centers
around the state, as well as by word of mouth. According to
Rivers, the residents of the Center enjoy a family community
atmosphere; living in separate structures instead of a dormitory
style building like many facilities. They gather together to talk
with each other, support and encourage their neighbors and help in
various areas of the Center. Men and women are welcome, but
children have not been a part of the Center’s program so far. If
possible, residents pay a small stipend to assist with utilities
and bills.
Franklin’s
Farm has helped about 130 people in the last four years.
Some people who came for help were not successful, but many folks
have overcome problems with addiction. According to Rivers,
the residents of the Center enjoy a family community atmosphere;
living in separate structures instead of a dormitory style
building like many facilities. They gather together to talk with
each other, support and encourage their neighbors and help in
various areas of the Center. Men and women are welcome, but
children have not been a part of the Center’s program so far. If
possible, residents pay a small stipend to assist with utilities

To
people who know him, Pastor Randy is one of the ‘real people’
who does not pretend to be something he is not. He openly
confesses that he is a recovering alcoholic. Through
Franklin’s Farm Recovery Center he offers a place of hope and
refuge for others facing substance abuse problems.
People
sometimes make bad choices that have negative outcomes for
themselves and everyone around them. But it does not mean
that lives cannot change for the better. As Rivers says:
“Through
the grace and love of God was able to turn my life around. I could
not have accomplished any of this without God’s help, without
the help and support of my dear wife, Teresa, and I am so indebted
to my friends across this beloved county who prayed for me during
that period when I walked in darkness. They never turned their
backs on me, have forgiven me, and simply want God's best for
me.”

Praise God for Mt Olive Baptist Church, Jodeco Baptist Church, Jodeco Road UMC,
and, Mo-Joe's in Rex for their support of Jodeco On the Road Food
Pantry/Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM), their prayers, encouragements,
donations and friendship. This past Saturday, our Lord led Revelation
Celebration Ministry (RCM) to a number of households that needed food from
Jodeco On the Road Food Pantry, prayer, Bibles, and, to hear the Good News
about the real reason for the season. Johnny Hand, a homeless man that lives in
a van on Flippen Road, Stockbridge, GA, accepted Christ as his saviour, that
morning. Praise God!
Last month, our Lord provided food to 119 families (that
included 253 people, 86
children, 20 seniors and 163 homeless
people) thru the good people who support the pantry and our
homeless/needy ministry. This month isn't over yet, but, we've already provided
food to Franklin Farms Homeless Shelter, Calvary Refuge Center, a widow, 9
homeless people and to over 15 families. God is good!

Revelation Celebration Ministry(RCM), with tremendous support
from Jodeco Road UMC, with gracious allowance of use of Bethel UMC’s freezers
and the bountiful blessings of Our LORD God Almighty , was able to give out 36
thanksgiving turkeys to families in need. Praise
God! All glory and honor to him!!! He also provided
for RCM to distribute 4978 pounds of nourishing food to 119
families that included 253
people, 86
children, 20
seniors. This included 163
homeless people!
The good news is that we took the gospel of hope to many. One
lady (Pam) prayed to receive Christ in her heart and repent from her sinful
desires! Halleluiah, Praise God! We also had a man (Randy) decide to change his
life with the help of the Holy Spirit. We found him laying on the ground behind
a convenience store with a bad hangover. We prayed with him to be delivered from
his oppression from alcohol. He has had this addiction since he was 16 yrs old
and is now 43. He decided to allow us to help him. We were able to get him
connected to the Promise Land Ministries Church of The Narrow Way in Ellijay,
Ga. They have an awesome rehabilitation program for men with addictions. We are
continuing to pray for Randy. As many of you know addictions destroy lives.
I want to thank everyone that has supported RCM in our mission.
Some gave financially, some gave with physical help, some gave administrative
support, some prayed for us, all efforts were received and appreciated! We know
that you share in all of the blessings that God pours out on us as we go into
the highways and byways for Our Lord Jesus as Paul the apostle stated in 2 Cor
9:6‐15.

The kids of the families that our Lord led us to, really did like getting the
cookies that Martha baked for them, when we made Angel Food deliveries last
Saturday. Wayne would give them a test before he'd give them the cookies. He's
ask them things like, what is the Armor of God, do you know John 3:16, and,
what are the fruits of the spirit?
We went out in two teams and made approximately 24 deliveries that day. We had
one lady, Pamela, accept Christ as her Savior and two homeless men say that
they wanted to go to Promise Keepers at Elijay. And, two people got baptized at
Jodeco Baptist Church, Sunday afternoon, also. Wayne gave the message for the
baptism.
So far this month, we have made approximately 6 emergency food deliveries, given
out over 30 homeless goodie bags and 40 Bibles, and, have delivered food to
Calvary Refuge Center homeless shelter and to The Door of Hope shelter for
women.

I visited Katrina today. She's the Program Director, The Door of Hope, a
ministry for women, 196 Harold Dr, PO Box 2558, McDonough, GA 30253,

She asked about Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) and Jodeco On The Road
Food Pantry. She said that we were Angels. She gave me a tour of the house. They
will have 6 girls that just got out of prison staying there, at a time. She
pointed to a house next door, said that The Door of Hope had already
"claimed it" to be used as a ministry for women coming off the
streets. Each ministry will be run a little differently. Katrina told
me that Annette, a homeless lady that RCM had referred to The Potter's
House for Women, is in NC with her family now and is doing great. Katrina
said that Annette sent The Potter's House for Women a check to cover all the
money that they had spent on her while she was in the program. God is so good!
I took Katrina some food and she was very greatful. She had planned to buy
groceries after work today, until I showed up. Katrina said that last Saturday
she had just told Vickie, the head of The Door of Hope, about RCM
when Rev Joel L Jones, the guy who had told me about The Door of Hope, called
her to tel her that he's just met me. God is great!
Someone has already donated new twin mattresses for the home. Several
women's Sunday School classes, from different churches in the area, have already
adopted a bedroom, each, to decorate before the girls arrive. The house has
3 bedrooms upstairs and a big room downstairs that Katrina is using as an office
and bedroom. Katrina said that she had wanted to get in contact with
Donna Crumley, Helping In His Name Food Pantry, to get food for the
girls before they arrived, but, didn't know Donna's number or where the
pantry had relocated too. I gave her directions to the pantry, a Helping In
His Name brochure, 3 Bibles, a United Way 2-1-1 Hotline handout, Christian
tracts, Upper Room devotionals and some candy too. The Door of Hope basically
need everything. The house was a dump when Katrina moved in and
several men have come over to fix the place up. They have a ways to go, but,
it'll be perfect for the women's ministry.

After working at the pantry, several hours, putting up the ton of groceries
that Mount Olive Baptist Church had just donated, on Saturday, I stopped at the
Shell Gas Station on Jodeco Road UMC for a minute, before going home to Linda. Just
before I left the station, a car drove up, a man got out, and, he asked me
how long was I in the Army? Apparently, he'd seen my Army bumper sticker
and the Georgia US Army Retired license plate on the back of my car.
He told me that he'd been in the 25th Infrantry Division. We talked a few
minutes about our military service. Then, he thanked me for my service. I
thanked him for his service and offered him a Gideon New Testament. He took
it, smiled, said that he already had a few Bibles, but, that he'd share
it with someone else. Then, he handed me his business card.
His business card indicates that his name is Rev Joel L Jones, "Faith
Comes By Hearing", www.fcbh.org, Home

On the backside of the card, it has "To Everyone An Answer". He then
pointed to a dirt road in a vacant lot across the street from the Shell Gas
Station. The road leads to the back of a one and a half story blue house.
He said that he was now a carpenter and that he was helping get the
house ready for a license inspection scheduled for 11/24/08. I believe the
address is 119 Holland Road. It's off of Peach Road.
Joel's in prison ministry in Henry Country and he said that the house
will be for women coming out of prison to go to, instead of returning to the
streets. Sound familiar (The Potter's House for Women)? It gets better. Katrina,
who used to be the House Mother at The Potter's House for Women, Inc, already
lives there and she'll be the House Mother there. God is good! She is now
working at a Waffle House in Conyers.
Wow! What an encounter.
I gave him some women shoes that I had picked up while I was at the pantry
(people are always leaving clothes, shoes, Bibles, Christian tracts, candy,
hygiene items, bottled water, food and love there). Joel said that they were
planning a yard sale to raise money for the house and that they might use them
for that. I believe the house is called "Door to Hope". Please pray
that the inspection will go well.
A new door seems to have just opened for us. Praise God from whom all blessings
flow!

Jones Memorial UMC and Jodeco Road UMC are a blessing to the community,
Revelation Celebration Ministry and to me. Thank you!
The "BBQ" was great! There were 18 homeless/needy people that ate our
great "BBQ" on 11/1/08, thanks to Jodeco Road UMC Christian Friends.
We also had 3 emergency food deliveries, gave out 10 Grace Bags, 6 Jones
Memorial UMC Hygiene Kits and 10 New Testaments, that day, to the needy in our
community. Praise God!
Thanks to the Jodeco Road UMC UMW's group, we gave out 10 beautiful hand made
blankets to the homeless, yesterday. We also gave out 14 Grace Bags, 3 New
Testaments and 12 Jones Memorial UMC Hygiene Kits, yesterday. God is good!
Thank you for sharing your gifts, talents and love with others. Praise God for
His blessings, mercy, provisions and grace!

Peace and Blessings to all!!!
We are in dire times in our world today! We have a lot of uncertainty
causing a lot of fear. As Christians we know that fear comes from satan. So
a lot of people are playing right into his hand. Also as Christian believers we
are to have joy in all circumstances. We are to be a beacon of light to the
unbelievers. Praise God! Even though we are changing our leader in the USA, We
know that Jesus is still our Lord and King! Halleluiah!!!! He is still our
provider and tells us in His word that he will never leave us nor forsake us and
that He will never give us more than we can handle. In 2
Tim 1:7 it says "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity,
but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline". He has given us
power and authority over all of the evil spirits including satan. ( Luke
10:17-20 & Col 2:13-15). We must take authority and live for the
Kingdom of God not the kingdom of this world.
Our Ministry has been faithfully going out to the neighborhoods in Henry
County! We have found many hungry people for food and for the hope of the
gospel! We have had quite a few people praying the sinner's prayer! Halleluiah!!!
Praise God. His mighty Holy Spirit has the hearts prepared and leads us to
them!!! We have also ministered to many needs of the believers. They need much
building up in times like these. We must stand firm together. We spend
approximately 1 hour per family. We have been spending roughly $450.00 per month
and averaging giving out about 4500#'s of food to 250 to 300 people including
about 90 to 100 children. This breaks down to approximately 50 to 60 families
who are weekly renters that are a sick day away from the streets. We generally
go to about 50 to 100 street people that have no place to live even on a
weekly basis. They lay their head where they can find a dry spot. We also give
food and support to a few shelters for homeless and abused children shelters.
Some have rehabilitation programs for alcohol and drugs
We are basically three people that go out with a lot of support from
several churches with food, financial support, and a lot of prayer! We need
more people, food, money and prayer!!! There is a lot of need!!!! Please
prayerfully consider helping us in whatever way that you can. We really need
people! It would be great to have someone that could speak Spanish and people
that are comfortable praying with others. But just people that have a
heart to help others. We can use whatever talents that you have. It is a great
opportunity for spiritual growth and for blessings like you have never felt. If

From Wayne, Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM), October 2008's
Report:
We went out Sat to give out food and the gospel. We had 5 or 6
pray the sinner's prayer this past week. We prayed for many other concerns
including healing and for jobs. We gave out 4490#'s of food* to 223 people.
94 children,6 seniors, 189 homeless (by government guidelines) of the 189
there were 41 street homeless and 88 families represented. We are finding
more and more without jobs and hungry children. We could probably double
these numbers easy if we had the funds and some extra help just in Henry
County alone. We pray to God Almighty for healing of our country. We need to
turn back to him in obedience!

Jodeco Road UMC donated over 400 bath towels/bath clothes/hand towels, 32 bars
of soap and 4 boxes of Klenix tissue to Calvary Refuge Center, recently.
Jodeco Road UMC's Journey kids (ages 3 to 5th grade) made 40 "grace
bags" filled with food, Christian tracts, water and tissue for the
homeless, and, they prayer over them, recently.
Jones Memorial UMC recently donated 32 sleeping bags, 100 hygiene kits,
Christian tracts, a ton of clothes, and, tote bags for our homeless/needy
outreach ministry.
We've given out all of the Grace Bags, most of the clothes, 80 hygiene kits
and 27 sleeping bags, so far. God is great!

them.

Truck theft leaves charity without food and diapers for poor

The fact that they would have given the food away free is what most bothers
Lori Miller.
The executive director for the Helping in His Name Ministries Food Pantry
lamented Tuesday that thieves recently smashed into the organization’s
Stockbridge compound and stole a 25-foot truck loaded with 10 pallets of food
and boxes of diapers and toys intended for needy families.
The truck later was found empty, heavily damaged and abandoned in Atlanta.
“How people could take food away from the poor and from children is
beyond me,” Miller said. “We would have given them the food, but the truck
is our lifeline.
I was floored.”
Miller was among the first to arrive at the scene the morning of Sept. 16
and discover things amiss. Criminals had forced their way into the compound
sometime the night before, ramming the 1998 white box truck through locked
gates before making off with the vehicle and its supplies.
Miller broke down in tears when she realized the extent of the crime.
The theft has severely hampered the ministry’s efforts to serve Henry
County’s growing numbers of those in need.
The food was valued at $12,000, according to a police report. Loss of the
truck, estimated to be worth $15,000, has left the organization without a way
to pick up food from donors and deliver it. The thieves also took $500 worth
of tools on the truck and a $50 tool box. Damages to the gate were estimated
at $1,200.
No suspects had been arrested as of late Tuesday afternoon, said Capt.
Jason Bolton, a spokesman for the Henry
County Police Department.
Miller called the crime “devastating” to their ministry, the county’s
largest food pantry, but was quick to give thanks for a community that already
has begun rallying support. Another local ministry has volunteered its truck
on a temporary basis.
Miller said the charity can buy more food from the Atlanta-based Food Bank,
but will have to rely on the public for donations of more food and money to
get back on its feet.
Helping in His Name Ministries Food Pantry has served more than 24,000
individuals so far this year, Miller said. Of that number, nearly half were
children under the age of 18 and more than 1,200 were seniors over age 65.

The food emphasis for Jodeco On The
Road Food Pantry for the month of September is canned/dried beans. The food
emphasis for October will be canned soup. However, the pantry can use just about
any non-perishable food item. The following
items are what the pantry needs most:

Last month, by the grace, provisions, and mercy of God, Revelation Celebration
Ministry (RCM) provided 3,865 pounds of food (from Jodeco On The Road Food
Pantry) to 160 households (including 122 children and 22 seniors). Sixty-five
Grace Bags (homeless goodie bags) were given to the homeless in Stockbridge,
Conley,
Decatur
,
Forest Park
and
Atlanta
.
Last Saturday, RCM provided food to 17 households. We've given out 38 Grace
bags, 24 pillows, 4 blankets, 2 ponchos, 20 hygiene kits and over 40
Bibles/Testaments this month, also.

The food emphasis for JOTRFP for September will be canned beans (red, green,
white, Navy, kidney, black, great northern, baby lima, green lima, white lima,
pinto, mexican style, yellow wax, butter, calico, etc). Can you think of a bean
that I forgot to mention? If so, the pantry could use that also.

What do you do when you see someone holding up a sign,
"Will Work for Food"? Do you roll down your window and give them
money? Do you pretend you didn't see them? Nobody
likes to be confronted by the homeless - their needs often seem too overwhelming
- but we all want to treat them fairly and justly. Here are some simple
guidelines to equip you to truly help the homeless people you meet:
1. Never give cash to a
homeless person
Too often, well intended gifts are converted
to drugs or alcohol - even when the "hard luck" stories they tell are
true. If the person is hungry, buy them a sandwich and a beverage.
2. Talk to the person with
respect.
Taking time to talk to a homeless person in a
friendly, respectful manner can give them a wonderful sense of civility and
dignity. And besides being just neighborly, it gives the person a weapon to
fight the isolation, depression and paranoia that many homeless people face.
3. Recognize that homeless
people (and their problems) are not all the same.
The homeless are as diverse as the colors of
a rainbow. The person you meet may be a battered women, an addicted veteran,
someone who is lacking job skills...the list goes on.
4. Share God's love whenever
you can.
If Jesus were walking the earth today, He
would certainly spend time with the homeless. He would speak with them, heal
them, and help them. Today, Jesus chooses to work through those who believe and
follow Him.
5. Pray for the homeless.
Exposure to the elements, dirt, occasional
violence, and lack of purpose all drain years from a person's life. God can use
your prayers and the brutality and the futility of life of the street to bring
many of the broken to Himself.
6. Take precautions for your
own safety.
Some living on the streets are criminals and
fugitives running from the law. Always be prudent while talking with street
people. Stay in areas where other people can see you. Don't take unnecessary
chances.
7. Encourage the homeless to
get help through your local Mission (Calvary Refuge Center).
Rescue missions that are members of the
Association of Gospel Rescue Missions offer immediate food and shelter to the
homelessness through their emergency shelters. Many offer long-term
rehabilitation programs that deal with the root causes of homeless. Many also
offer "tickets" that can be given to homeless people which can be
exchanged at the Mission for a nutrious meal, safe overnight lodging, and the
option of participating in a rehab program.
Most AGRM member missions receive little or
no government funding. They are supported by caring individuals, churches,
businesses, and civic groups who see the value of sharing their resources with
the less fortunate.

- Learn more about the many
programs rescue
missions offer to help the homeless and other
needy people. If you always thought they just worked with "skid
row" drunks and "bag ladies" this will be a real eye-opener!

The Greatest Race

As the Olympic Games open in Beijing, my thoughts go back to Eric Liddell, a
former champion immortalized for his surprising gold medal victory in the
400 meters during the 1924 Games in Paris. A year after his triumph, Liddell
went to China, where he spent the last 20 years of his life as a missionary
teacher and rural pastor. There he ran the greatest race of his life against
opponents we all know—difficult circumstances, war, uncertainty, and
disease.
Crowded into a Japanese internment camp with 1,500 other people, Eric lived
out the words he had paraphrased from 1 Corinthians 13:6-8— “Love is
never glad when others go wrong. Love finds no pleasure in injustice, but
rejoices in the truth. Love is always slow to expose, it knows how to be
silent. Love is always eager to believe the best about a person. Love is
full of hope, full of patient endurance; love never fails.”
Eric served the others in camp, whether carrying water for the elderly or
refereeing games for the teens. When he died of a brain tumor in February
1945, one internee described him as a man “who lived better than he
preached.”
In life’s most difficult race, Eric Liddell crossed the finish line

THE writer of a meditation in The Upper Room said she
sometimes feels guilty when bypassing street-corner beggars even though she
supports agencies that serve these folks. Her story made me want to tell about
the "bags of grace" my church and others prepare. Each bag has
nonperishable food items, a bottle of water, personal hygiene items, a prayer
card, and information on social-service agencies. Churches in urban areas
often include public transportation tokens in their grace bags.
These bags are available to us at church for a little less
than actual cost. (Contributions from church members make up the difference.)
Since cash given to the homeless could be spent for alcohol or tobacco or in
other harmful ways, we give food. Some people prefer to give out new socks as
an alternative. One homeless man said, "Socks are pure gold out on the
streets."
I keep one or two of these bags of food in my car at all
times. When my five-year-old grandson is with me, I let him hand the bag
through the car window to the person seeking help. Recently, elementary
children in our church assembled 300 "bags of grace" one Sunday
morning. Each child then received a bag to give to someone in need. Each bag
is a gift of love to Christ.

A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon
with me?' The father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'.
They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and went
on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's
request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his
father, 'Dad, let's join the Ironman together.
To which, his father said 'Yes' .
For those who didn't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever.
The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86
kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike
ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the
coast of the Big Island. Father and son went on to complete the race

Transitional housing program during the grant year January 2, 2009 to January 1,
210. The total donation for the grant year should be at least worth $1200.

We just got home from seeing the orthopedist. He looked at
the MRI and did x-rays. I think he said that a bone fragment
from Frankie's spine has fallen into his hip joint and is
causing the problem. They are going to try 6 days of steroid
pills first and see if that will work
then there are 3 more things they can try before surgery.
Pray with us that this will work.

Richard Barnes, Atlanta VA Regional Office Homeless Veterans
Coordinator, Decatur, GA, said that there were approximately 300 veterans
at this years annual Atlanta VA Regional Office Homeless Veterans'
"Stand Down" ( 8 women, 7 children and no seniors), on 6/14/08.
He said the the homeless veterans were very grateful for the items
that our Lord provided thru Jones Memorial UMC, Moye's Pharmacy, Mo-joe's
Inc, Rex, Ga, Jodeco Road UMC, Ft McPherson AFEES Clothing Sales Store,
Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry, and, Helping In His Name Food Pantry to
them. We provided over 900 pounds of food, bottled water, hygiene kits,
clothing, sleeping bags and Christian tracts to this year's "Stand
Down".

women's hygiene kits, 1 men's hygiene kit, 3 sleeping bags, Christian tracts
and provided a homeless lady with clothing to wear to her Mother's funeral, last
night.

Our Revelation Celebration Ministry with much support from Jodeco Road
UMC, the Jodeco on the Road Food Pantry and Helping In His Name Food
Pantry ministered to 444 people(included in this number is Haven
House,Calvary Refuge,and the Potters house for Women) with food,prayer
and the word of God by mouth,by giving out bibles along with the tracts of
HOPE and spiritual growth books from North American Mission Board. We had 6
people to pray to receive Christ or to rededicate their lives to Him. I
praise God and His Mighty Holy Spirit for having their hearts ready to
Repent and receive his gospel. I thank God for using
us to speak as his willing vessels. We also thank him for the support
from Stockbridge Assembly of God Church for providing their fellowship
hall for us to teach the word and to serve hot meals on Friday
night to the needy, We thank Stockbridge Assembly of God Church for the
vans to pi ckup people in order for them to be able to come to hear God's
word. The baptism service/Memorial Day celebration went really well with
lots of fun along with two young men getting baptized in the name of the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We welcome them to the Kingdom. In the 444
people that received 4943lbs of quality food their was 99 children,42
seniors,90 hot meals served, and 80 brown bag meals to the homeless. I thank
ya'll for being willing vessels to let God use you. I know that ya'll agree
that all the glory and honor belongs to the Holy One of Israel, The Great
"I AM".

woman, to 19 needy families, to Haven House (8 women and 16 children), to
The Potter's House for Women (18 women), Calvary Refuge Center (105 homeless
people to include 24 children), and, gave goodie bags (food, bottled
water, insect repellant, hygiene items, and Christian tracts) to over 50
homeless people. Additionally, we gave out over 150 Bibles/New Testaments, in
May. Six people accepted Christ as their Savior, and, 2 young men got baptized
in the Alcovy River, during the month of May.

Chuck Handley, Community Bible Church, Stockbridge, GA, and I went out this
morning to make Angel Food deliveries. The food was provided by Jodeco On
the Road Food Pantry and came from members of Jodeco Road UMC, Mount Olive
Baptist Church and Jodeco Baptist Church. God led us to 6 families that needed
food. And, He led us to 2 homeless people to whom we gave Homeless Goodie
Bags too. Over the last week, we've given out over 100 New
Testaments/Bibles that were donated to our homeless/needy ministry by a fellow
Gideon, and, by my Sunday School Class, Christian Friends, Jodeco Road UMC.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

This is a pastor from Kenya that wrote me a
month ago after seeing our website. It is the only email that I have ever
received from the website. I am asking
for fervent prayer to God almighty for provision for these people and
for direction for us in our ministry. This man just didn't happen upon our
website. God is sending him to us for our help. I am not sure of the crisis in
his country although I think they had some unsettling times in the past year.

Jesus Worship centre ministry , My father was a bishop and He planted
many churches around kenya REEDEMED GOSPEL CHURCH and the headquater was
in Nairobi city . He died age of 93 years, after 5 years Some bishops
came against me over the ministry which my father gave me to run
and after some months God spoke to my mother concerning my call to start
another ministry which can help people in remote areas. that is when I
started JESUS WORSHIP CENTRE MINISTRY IN KISII TOWN AND IN REMOTE AREAS
, by now I have 6 churches , the mother church it has 88 members with 67
sunday school children, I thank God for that , now servant of God , i hope you
know what Happened in kenya some few months ago, many people lost the family
during the crisis and now I have 12 people whom I am taking care to give them
food clothing , now its my prayer request that you pray for me over the issue.
My ministry I can say is young but God is moving and we have big VISION
for the lost. now here in kenya to buy food is very expensive
because many foods were destroyed over the crisis please pray for me .I have
shared much with my wife and other pastors who I met today and I shared with
them about you and its our prayer and it will be our daily prayer Lord to open
away for you to visit kenya one day. I know you will enjoy preaching the

Yesterday, 5/14/08, Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) delivered
over 400 pounds of food (milk, juice, oat meal, chips, bottled water, chicken
and hams) to Calvary Refuge Center (CRC). Sherry York, CRC, was very
appreciative. God is good! RCM also gave out over 27 New Testaments,
too, during the day.
On Saturday, 5/10/08, RCM delivered food to one widow, to Haven House and
to eight needy families. We also gave out approximately 30 scriptures (Bibles
and New Testaments) during the day. That morning, we gave out five Jodeco Road
United Methodist Church United Methodist Men's sausage biscuits, and, five
homeless goodie bags to four Henry County work release prisoners and to a
community service volunteer, at Blessings Thrift Store for Haven House on Jodeco
Road. Six people accepted Christ as their Savior on Saturday. Praise God!
RCM has Angel Food deliveries scheduled for 5/17/08, and, will have a cook-out
and baptism at the Factory Shoals Park on the Alcovy River on Saturday, 5/24/08.
RCM will also have it's 5th Annual Golf Tournament on 6/18/08 at Georgia
National Golf Club, Lake Dow. Please pray for these upcoming events. If you'd

Richard Barnes, VA Homeless Veterans Coordinator, Atlanta VA Regional Office,
Decatur, GA, will host a "Stand-Down" for Atlanta metro homeless vets
on 6/14/08 at a VA Site in East Point, GA. Richard needs travel size hygiene
items (soap, shampoo, hand lotion, tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant, mouth
wash, wash clothes, etc) for approximately 200 homeless veterans. If you have
any of these items that you'd like to donate for a good cause, it would be
greatly appreciated. Items can be dropped off at the Jodeco On The Road Food
Pantry, Jodeco Road UMC, 1500 Jodeco Road, Stockbridge, GA, or, I can pick

Thank you, Jodeco Road UMC's United Methodist Men and Jodeco Road UMC church
members who volunteered on Saturday, 4/26/08, to break down approximately
2500 pounds of food donated to Jodeco On the Road Food Pantry into 12 deliveries
for Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) to take to the needy
in our community. Twelve deliveries were made to a widow and to 11 very needy
families that God led RCM too, that day. Two people asked Jesus into their
hearts, during the day. God is good!
Thank you, Christian Friends Sunday School Class, Jodeco Road UMC, for donating
88 Bibles to our homeless/needy outreach ministry, on Sunday, 4/27/08. Wow!

RCM GOLF TOURNAMENT 2008
I am such
a sacredly cat! I knew that we going to have to have a less expensive entry fee
for the golf tournament this year, because of the slow economy. I felt
certain that we would have to move to a less expensive course. After talking to
one of my friends that is doing a much larger tournament with Canongate, He told
me that they had gone up on the price from last year by ten dollars per player.
Well I decided to at least try with Andy at Canongate before I called
anyone else. I sent him an email telling him that we would have to have $10/player
less than last year to be able to do the tournament at Georgia National this
year. He sent me a contract back with the same cost as last year, so I sent him
another email reminding him that we had to have $10/player less. He emailed back
apologizing and lowering the price by $10/player. He remembered our people from
last year. I know that the Lord did this and is working on Andy for Revelation
Celebration Ministry. Praise God!!! Hallelujah!!!!! To put this in
perspective, Georgia National is one of the best courses in the Atlanta area and
we are getting the price that we would have to pay at one of the worst courses
in the area. As most of ya'll remember, these people do a great job. It also is
a great place to get to witness to folks that never darken the door of a church.
My neighbor Ron Mason,still talks about us praying and reading God's word in the
clubhouse last year. I need to know who will be able to commit to
helping us make it happen on Wednesday, June 18th. starting time 1pm. I know
that we still are going to have to cut expenses, which means that we will need
more donated items, we will need food donated instead of paying Canongate. I
am thinking that we can get Chic-fil-A to help us with that possibly. Anyway,
let me know as soon as possible, I need to know if we can move forward. I need
to sign the contract and nail it down. I will have to get some of the
preliminaries done from Ft Worth. Remember the more people that we can get
involved on the committee to put together the tournament, the better it will be
for fund raising. With all of the people out of work, we are going to need more
than ever this year. These times are great opportunities for us to reach people
for Christ. (Reach, Preach, and Teach)

FYI, This is the numbers for Mar 2008: 110
Families given food, 536 people, 205 children, 73 seniors, 6745 lbs of food,
93 hot meals served at Stockbridge Assembly of God Friday night services, 89
homeless goodie bags served in three or four counties. Praise God for the
bounty that he has provided and praise him for sending the willing hearts to
help get it out to them. It has been the body of Christ coming together
to serve our Lord and Savior. I have one regret, I can't remember us leading
anyone to the Lord last month. We need to revisit our mission statement and
have some brain storming to come up with fresh ways to reach the lost. Our
priority is to reach the lost, hopeless and hungry by showing them the
love of Christ, then proclaiming the gospel to them and then discipline them
to build them up in the Holy Word of God and teach them how the power of the
Holy Spirit will transform their lives. We've been doing a good job of
showing them the Love of Christ and teaching them in the Word. One bright spot
for me was seeing little 2 yr old Antonio holding his bible in his right hand
and saying who-ah as he was walking around on his porch. I know that we are
planting seeds. Another was listening to Richard tell us how his
life has been transformed since we prayed for him to receive Jesus in his
heart 1yr ago. He has quit drinking (he is an alcoholic), now studying his
bible and attending church regularly. Praise God, all power, Glory and Honor
to Him. He is such an awesome God. I pray that God blesses each one of you
Indeed until your cup runs over.

Happy Spring! I was blessed to be able to provide homeless goodie bags
(bottled water, canned food, spoon, crackers, breakfast cookie, chips and a
Jones Memorial UMC Christian tract) to 4 homeless people, on my way to work this
morning. Except for the grace of God, there go I.
We've been able to provide food, Jones Memorial UMC hygiene kits, Jones Memorial
UMC Christian tracts, chips, bottled water and clothing to approximately 70
homeless people, this month. Some of the homeless people also got Community
Bible Church gloves, Jones Memorial UMC sleeping bags/pillows, Jones
Memorial UMC totes, Bibles and hats. The Lord also provided Jodeco On
The Road Food Pantry with enough food (donated by Jodeco Road UMC, Mount
Olive Baptist Church, Helping In His Name Food Pantry, Jodeco Baptist Church and
Avalon Church) for approximately 70 needy families. Wow! God is great!
He also provided us with a freezer!
Please keep the pantry, the needy and Revelation Celebration Ministry in your
prayers.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The van load of sleeping bags, hygiene kits,
clothes, totes, Christian tracts and love that Jones Memorial UMC gave
to our homeless outreach ministry, yesterday evening, will be a blessing
to the less fortunate and will demonstrate God's love for them.
Since yesterday evening, because of Jones Memorial UMC's love and God's grace, 9
hygiene kits, 4 totes, 1 sleeping bag, 12 Christian tracts and 3
Bibles have been given to the homeless in our community (1 in
Stockbridge, 2 in Conley and 6 in Decatur).
Also, yesterday evening, Calvary Refuge Center homeless shelter got a van
load of potato chips from the pantry (donated by Helping In His Name
Food Pantry).
God is good!

Kathy Guptill, Jones Memorial UMC, wants me to drop by their church around
5:00 PM, tomorrow, to pick up 2 cases of toilet tissue, clothes, hygiene kits
and home made sleeping bags for our homeless outreach ministry. God is good!
The 50 boxes of food, with 46 Smithfield fully cooked hams (approximately 1500
pounds), that Avalon Church donated to us on Saturday was amazing. Tony St Cyr,
a Baptist Minister, told the church about Revelation Celebration Ministry, and he
then called me to pick up food that they wanted us to have. They had
750 people come to the church to pick up food, that day, as an outreach ministry
to the community (Hope for Henry). They also took food to an apartment
complex (door to door deliveries) behind their church, to a fire station, to
Helping In His Name Food Pantry and to Haven House. God is awesome!

Happy Tuesday, March, Spring and Easter!
Wayne made 4 deliveries, yesterday, to include 400 pounds of food to The
Potter's House for Women. I'll make deliveries to Haven House and to Calvary
Refuge Center on Wednesday. We have 2 more deliveries to needy families, to be
made, that day, also. Additionally, Wayne is going to make another delivery of
food to The Potter's House for Women (31 cases of frozen South Beach breakfast
wraps), this Wednesday. We ran out of spaces to store the frozen food and took
the cases of breakfast items to Stockbridge Assembly of God's Food Pantry,
for safe keeping.
I think that we have given out at least 30 homeless goodie bags and have made at
least 24 deliveries to the needy in our community, so far, this month (over 2700
pounds of food). Praise God!
We're out of food, again, and, almost out of money. Please pray that His mercy,
provisions and grace will continue to flow our way; the need is greater than
ever.

In going to and from work, from last Friday to this morning, our Lord has led
me to 21 homeless people (10 this morning). They got homeless goodie bags that
had Jones Memorial UMC Christian tracts, and, juice, crackers, candy, and,
canned food from Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry (supported by Jones Memorial UMC,
Mount Olive Baptist Church, Jodeco Road UMC, Jodeco Baptist Church, Stockbridge
Assembly of God, just to name a few of the churches) in them. They also got
chips, cookies and crackers from Helping In His Name Food Pantry. The goodie
bags were prayed over by children at Jodeco Road UMC. And, some of them got
gloves (donated by a member of Community Bible Church) and blankets (made by
Jodeco Road UMC's United Methodist Women). God is great!

Why
did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection? I never noticed
this....
The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the
face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like t he grave clothes.
The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded,
and was placed at the head of that stony coffin.
Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb
and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.
She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus
loved. She said, "They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I
don't know where they have put him!"
Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see. The other disciple outran
Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth
lying there, but he didn't go in.
Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings
lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and
lying to the side.
Is that important? Absolutely!
Is it really significant? Yes!
In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to
understand
a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do
wit h the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition.
When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was
exactly the way the master wanted it.
The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out
of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare
touch that table, until the master was finished.
Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his
fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss
it onto the table.
The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded
napkin meant, "I'm done".
But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it
beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because.......
...
The folded napkin meant, "I'm coming back!"
He is Coming Back!

Wow! God is good! Just in the past month, or so, Jodeco Road UMC has truly
reached out to the needy in our community. Here are just a few of the things
that Jodeco Road UMC has done (planting seeds of love).
Jodeco Road UMC UMW made 21 Fleece Blankets for the homeless.
Jodeco Road UMC's Journey kids filled 30 homeless goodie bags with food,
treats, Christian tracts, Moye's bottled water and love. They showed true love
by visiting the residents at Laurel Park.
Jodeco Road UMC Boy Scout Troop 160 collected/donated over several hundred cans
of food to the pantry on Scout Sunday.
Jodeco Road UMC's Youth collected canned food and money for Jodeco On The Road
Food Pantry on "Souper Bowl Sunday". And, after their annual pancake
supper, they donated syrup, butter, sasauges and pancakes to the Flippen Road
Fire Station.
Jodeco Road UMC donated a ton of coats, hats and gloves to the needy for
"Warm-Up Sunday".
Jodeco On the Road Food Pantry (the closet full of miracles) has provided over
6000 pounds of food to the needy in our community (January and February Angel
food deliveries made by Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM).

Here's a note from Wayne, Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM),
concerning the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) report that he just sent
in for Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry's Account with them, for the
month of January. Wow! Wayne's going to go to ACFB ,tomorrow, to pick up over a
ton of food for the pantry that RCM plans on delivering this Saturday,
along with Angel Food boxes, to the needy.
Karen and Chris Parrott, Jodeco Road UMC, (mentioned in the note) were sent from
God! Chuck and Michelle (and her two sons), mentioned in the note, are good
friends, from Community Bible Church. They are interested in starting a
mission outreach program for the needy in Henry County. They showed up at Jodeco
On The Road Food Pantry at Jodeco Road UMC, last month, to help RCM make
Angel food deliveries to the needy. It snowed that day. But, that didn't
dampen our spirits. They were a blessing!
The food and other items that are mentioned in the note below came
from God thru Mount Olive Baptist Church, Jodeco Baptist Church, Jones Memorial
UMC and Jodeco Road UMC. Most of the sleeping bags and hygiene kits were given
out to the homeless, this month, and weren't included in the ACFB Report. Praise

Hi Frankie,Star and Karen, God bless you and yours!!! Last
month was supernatural !!! I just finished the report for ACFB. Our ministry
give out 4291 lbs of food to 351 people, which includes 147 children, 49
seniors. 139 homeless, fed approx 80 hot meals (probably double that with
the leftovers that we send home with them). I think there was approx 30
sleeping bags and 70 or so hygiene kits. An average of 16 people per week
came to our bible study to hear and study God's word and receive a hot meal
prepared by Star, Karen and Chris. Praise God for sending Karen
and Chris to take some of the load off of Star. I pray that Chuck and
Michelle continue to help on Saturdays. I think that Isaac and Isaiah will
come Sat. to help. I want to remind ya'll that we will be in the youth hall
for Fri night. We probably need to get Pizza ordered. In Christ's Love!!!!

Thanks to the Body of Christ (Jones Memorial UMC, Mount Olive Baptist Church,
Jodeco Road UMC and The First Baptist Church of McDonough), yesterday, we
gave food, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, gloves, and Bibles to 9 homeless people.
The pantry made 5 emergency deliveries (3 in Hampton, 1 in Stockbridge and 1 to
a homeless family living in their van), and, we gave food, bottled water,
sleeping bags, hygiene kits, hats and scarves to another homeless ministry, The
First Baptist Church of McDonough, who will go to Atlanta, this Friday night, to
feed/minister to 100 homeless people. Mark Hall's (Casting Crown's) youth
group, Eagles Landing Baptist Church, will go with them and lay hands/pray
for the homeless.
Left over pancakes, sausages, syrup and butter, from Jodeco Road UMC's Wednesday
Night Supper/Ash Wednesday Service were taken to a local fire department. Along
with the food, five Strength for Service devotionals were given to the firemen.

Kathy & Jones Memorial UMC: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Wayne, Star
and I were touched by our Brothers and Sisters In Christ at Jones Memorial
UMC. Thanks for the wonderful fellowship, support, prayers, encouragements, good
food, and, the Bibles, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, hats, gloves, toilet tissue,
scarves and totes for the homeless.
Jones Memorial UMC and you are the greatest!
Our Lord led Wayne and me to 3 homeless people in Forest Park (John, Porscha and
Larmar), and, to 3 homeless people in Conley (Karma, Jeri and Barbara),
yesterday afternoon. They got prayer, Bibles, devotionals, sleeping bags, food,
hats, scarves, totes and hygiene kits.
God is awesome!
This morning, Jimbo, a homeless man at Little Five Points, got a sleeping bag,
hygiene kit, food and gloves. Also, 7 homeless veterans in Decatur got hygiene
kits, and, 3 of them got fleece blankets.

Wow! Tell the Jodeco Road UMC Journey kids that we appreciate the 30 homeless
goodie bags that they made to share God's blessings with the needy. They
are "seeds" of love.
Yesterday, Karma, "Lilbit", Phil and Peaches got homeless goodie bags
and were told that God loved them. Karma also got a Bible and reading glasses.
Over 50 homeless goodie bags have been given out, this month. Each bag had a
bottle of Moye's water, a Betterway Bookstore Christian tract, Boca Grande Inc
peanut butter and jelly packets, crackers, a breakfast bar, candy, a spoon,
napkin, canned food, etc.
Approximately 2 thousand pounds of food was taken to Calvary Refuge Center
( 106 homeless people), Haven House (22 people), the Potter's House for Women
(14 Princesses) and Noah's Ark (24 kids), this month. And, we also made at least
15 deliveries to needy families, couples and a widow (another 2 thousand pounds
of food). Revelation Celebration Ministry served approximately 50 meals at
it's Friday night services. And, during January, 5 people accepted Christ as
their Savior.
Thank God for the encouragements, support, donations, prayers and help from
Mount Olive Baptist Church, Jodeco Baptist Church, Stockbridge Assembly of God,
Jones Memorial UMC, Jodeco Road UMC, local businesses, among others, and,
to people like you!

The first 3 Jodeco Road UMC UMW's blankets were given to 3 homeless people
(Angie, Barry and Jennifer) that we'd never met before. Angie called her
blanket "God's Blanket", after I told her that it'd been prayed
over twice by members of Jodeco Road UMC. Barry and Jennifer had accepted Christ
as their Savior at Revelation Celebration's Ministry's (RCM) first Friday night
service in January 2008.

Jodeco Road UMC collected coats, hats, gloves, etc, for the homeless during
the month of January 2008! Wow!
Jodeco Road UMC United Methodist Women's group has a goal of making 50 blankets
(Fleece for His Flock) for our homeless ministry by 2/14/08. God is great!
On 2/3/08, while we're at Jones Memorial UMC, Kathy Guptil's group will have
hand made sleeping bags, hygiene kits, toilet tissue, hand made hats, gloves,
hand made scarves, etc, for our homeless ministry. She said that we might need
two vehicles to carry everything.
Jodeco Road UMC's Boy Scout Troop 160 usually does a Scout Sunday, during
the month of February, in conjunction with a food drive for the pantry.

Sandee, the beautiful fleece blanket that you made for Jodeco Road United
Methodist Church's (UMC) United Methodist Women for their homeless mission
project was given to Jennifer, today. Bless you!
Over 700 pounds of food was taken to Haven House and to The Potter's House
for Women, today. Our Lord led us to 2 work release prisoners (J D and
Lenard), and, to 5 homeless people (Jennifer, Barry, Jessie, Bob and Chris),
today, also. They got homeless goodie bags, Christian tracts, hygiene items and
prayer. Praise God!
When I think of the support, prayers, encouragements, donations and assitance
that Jodeco Road UMC, Mount Olive Baptist Church, Stockbridge Assembly of God,
and Jones Memorial UMC, among others, give to Jodeco On The Road Food
Pantry and to Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM), I think of the Body of
Christ.

You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do
nothing for him.

Everyone respects and helps the millionaire, the famous, the boss, those with
beauty and brains.
What about the bum on the street?
This is a real story. It happened to me, the writer of MountainWings.com.
I was parked in front of the church cleaning out my Jeep. I was waiting on
someone.
Coming my way from across the street was what society would consider a bum.
From the looks of him, he had no car, no home, no clean clothes, and no money.
There are times when you feel generous but there are other times that you just
don't want to be bothered.
This was one of those "don't want to be bothered times."
"I hope he doesn't ask me for any money," I thought.
He didn't.
He came and sat on the wall in front of the bus stop to wait on
the bus.
After a few minutes he spoke.
"That's a very pretty Jeep," he said.
He was ragged but he had an air of dignity around him. His scraggly blond
beard keep more than his face warm. I said,
"thanks," and continued cleaning out the Jeep.
He sat there quietly as I worked. The expected plea for money never came.
As the silence between us widened something inside said, "ask him if he
needs any help."
I was sure that he would say "yes" but I held true to the inner
voice.
"Do you need any help?" I asked.
He answered in three simple but profound words that I shall never forget.
We often look for wisdom in great men and women. We expect it from those of
higher learning and accomplishments. I expected nothing but an outstretched
grimy hand.
He spoke the three words that shook me.
"Don't we all?" he said.
I was feeling high and mighty, successful and important, above a bum
in the street, until those three words hit me like a twelve gauge shotgun.
Don't we all?
I needed help. Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I needed help.
I reached in my wallet and gave him not only enough for bus fare, but
enough to take a cab anywhere in the city and get food and shelter for the
day.
Those three little words still ring true.
No matter how much you have, no matter how much you have accomplished, you
need help too.
No matter how little you have, no matter how loaded you are with problems,
even without money or a place to sleep, you can give help.
Even if it's just a compliment, you can give that.
You never know when you may see someone who appears to have it all. They are
waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different perspective on
life, a glimpse at something beautiful, a respite from daily chaos, that only
you th rough a torn world can see.
Maybe the man was just a homeless stranger wandering the streets.
Maybe he was more than that.
Maybe he was sent by a power that is great and wise, to minister to a soul too
comfortable in themselves.
Maybe God looked down, called an Angel, dressed him like a bum, then said,
"go minister to that man cleaning the Jeep, that man needs help."
We all need help!

Hi All, I wanted to let you all
know what is happening in
my life. God has been calling me to go into full time ministry
for him since 1993. I have been slow in responding, but I have
finally taken the leap. And I do mean a giant leap of
faith. I resigned my company that I have been with for 20
yrs and stepped out totally trusting God for all that I need.. I have started
classes to become a certified minister. I will be praying for his
direction for the next step. I ask for all of you to be praying
for me. The evil one has already began a fresh attack on
me. I know that Jesus has already won the battle for me, but please
pray that I will continue to let the Lord's light shine thru me.
I
am starting courses online and at the Assembly of God regional
office in Macon to be certified as a minister of the gospel. I
am continuing with the Revelation Celebration Ministry that we
started almost three years ago. In the last three years we have delivered
close to 100,000 pounds of food and have sewed many seeds into the
hopeless and homeless. We have lead over 100 people to Jesus
and have actually had approx 50 or 60 of those to be baptized. Most
of that time we have had three of us going out. We desperately
need more committed servants to go out this next year. This
year there is going to be more need, we see it manifesting already.
The harvest is plentiful and it is ready for the harvesting, but the
workers are few.. If
anyone is interested in joining to help with our Revelation
Celebration Ministry, we will be taking food out on the 19th to
the neighborhoods to minister to the hopeless and homeless with
food and the gospel. If you can't make it then our yearly
schedule is posted on rcmforjesus.org. Also if
any of you know of anyone that might have a refrigerator/freezer to
donate for a single parent with 8 children that is having tough
times after her husband deserted her. She is working cleaning
houses to try to make
it. She is a teacher that is not certified here. Our ministry
and a church helped her keep from being evicted on Dec 27th. We
are helping her with food also. My new cell# is

Bless you! Thank you! God is great! The folks from Mount Olive Baptist Church
are the salt of the earth!
Wayne, Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM), made an emergency food
delivery today, 1/11/08, to a family of 3. The family met him at Jodeco
Road UMC to pick up the food. They got 65 pounds of food from the pantry
and Wayne talked to them about Jesus and about salvation, before they left.
The Mother and Father prayed the sinners prayer and accepted Jesus Christ as
their Saviour in the church's parking lot. Praise God!
Karen Parrot, Jodeco Road UMC, brought food (sloppy joe and ravioli) to
Stockbridge Assembly of God, on her way home from work, for RCM's Friday night
service, this evening. We made chili and added the sloppy joe to the pot of
chili. The chili was tasty! And, the kids enjoyed the ravioli
too. And, Mrs. Winners, Stockbridge, donated 3 gallons of tea for the service
tonight. God is awesome!
So far, this month, the pantry has taken almost 1,000 pounds of food (Boca
Grande Food's Inc peanut butter, jellies and bar-b-que sauce, from Mount
Olive Baptist Church) to Calvary Refuge Center and to Haven House. We've
made two emergency food deliveries and plan on making another one tomorrow.
Yesterday, we gave food (Nestle's cocoa mix, canned cheese sauce and chocolate
pudding from Mount Olive Baptist Church) to a church in Riverdale that has
an outreach program for children and pregnant teens on Thursday nights. We've
also given out 16 homeless goodie bags, 7 Bibles, a sleeping bag, blanket,
socks, reading glasses, hygiene items, Henry Medical Center First Aid Kits, P-38
Military Can Openers and Betterway Christian Book Store Christian tracts.
Praise God for His mercy, provision, blessings and grace!

God is awesome! He led me to 12 homeless people, before work, last Thursday.
Yesterday, he led me to 3 work release prisoners (Wolf, PJ and Tommie) and to 2
homeless people (Janice and Dirty Rick). They got homeless goodie bags, some got
Bibles, and, all were told that they were loved by God.
Thank you for your support, prayers, encouragements, donations, friendship and
love.

Good Morning!
Wayne is going into full time ministry with RCM. He's telling his boss today and
has his home up for sale. Please keep him and RCM in your prayers.
RCM made a delivery to Haven House on 12/13/07 (approximately 185 pounds). RCM
made 12 Angel Food deliveries on 12/15/07 (approximately 2000 pounds). An 18
year old muslim girl accepted Christ as her Savior, that day. Praise God! RCM
will make a delivery to The Potter's House for Women tonight (approximately 200
pounds). God is good! He wants to do our "Angel Food" deliveries twice
a month, next year.

Greetings
Thanks to Mount Olive Baptist Church, we had enough food to make 7 deliveries
last week (3 on 11/18/07-Frankie/Johnnie, 1 on Monday-Star, and, 3 on
Thanksgiving Day-Frankie). We've also made approximately 19 goodie bag deliveries
to the homeless and to 2 prisoners, over the last 2 weeks. Thanks to Jones
Memorial UMC, the homeless also got hats, some got scarves, and gloves, also.
God is awesome!
Our Lord has led me to some interesting homeless people to include Amazon
(a very big woman), John The Baptist (also know as Chicken Man), Ricky, AMOCO
(he used to work at one), Savannah, and Greek. Savannah and her family (husband
and 3 children) were living in an old building in Conley. I referred them to
Calvary Refuge Center. The family got the last children's sleeping bag that
Jones Memorial UMC had donated to our homeless mission. Because of their love,
we've given out 29 sleeping bags, 28 totes 9still have 4 totes to give out), 36
hats (still have 4 hats to give out) , 52 hygiene kits and about 91 pairs of
gloves (still have 12 pairs of gloves to give out) over the past month. Wow!
While I was shopping at a grocery store in Forest Park, yesterday, a cashier
came over and said, "I know you, Frankie; you gave my family food while we
were staying at Motel 6." They're moving into an apartment next week. That
touched my heart! She said "God is great!" Amen!

So far, this month, Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry has delivered over 1500
pounds of donated food to Calvary Refuge Center, to Noah's Ark, to 2 needy
families, and, to The Potter's House for Women. Most of the food came from
Mount Olive Baptist Church and a local Baptist minister. I love Baptists! Mount
Olive Baptist Church made the food deliveries to Noah's Ark and to Calvary
Refuge Center. Praise God!
Our homeless/needy ministry, so far this month, has given out 23 Jones Memorial
UMC (JMUMC) sleeping bags, 10 JMUMC totes, 10 JMUMC hats, 10 JMUMC hand
made scarves, 20+ JMUMC homeless hygiene kits (socks,wash cloth, hand towel,
shampoo, tooth brush, tooth paste, body lotion, etc), 20+ pairs of JMUMC gloves,
20+ Bibles, and, 15 homeless goodie bags (Moye's bottled water, Mt Olive Baptist
Church beanie weenies/sardines, cookies, crackers, Betterway Book Store
Christian tract, etc). Wow! I love Jones Memorial UMC! The Body of Christ at
work!

This morning, 10 homeless people on Ponce de Leon got Jones Memorial UMC hygiene
kits, and, for those that needed them, they got Jones Memorial UMC hats, gloves
and totes. God is good! Thank you for your support, encouragements, prayers,

Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) will have a Thanksgiving Service this
Friday at Stockbridge Assembly of God, beginning at 7:00 PM, for the
needy that our Lord has placed in our path. We're going to have the St Cyr
Family Southern Gospel Group at the service. Wow!

Memorial UMC, Jodeco Road UMC, Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry, Jodeco Baptist
Church, Revelation Celebration Ministry, Stockbridge Assembly of God, Noah's
Ark, Calvary Refuge Center, Haven House, and, for His blessings, mercy,
provisions and grace.
Today, our Lord led me to James, Tim, GiGi, Michael, Stephen, CiCi, Dana,
John, and to 2 needy families. The homeless men and women got
sleeping bags, hygiene kits, hats and gloves. The needy family got 3
children's sleeping bags, infant blankets, baby wipes, toilet tissue, foot
powder, 2 hygiene kits and chocolate candy. Homeless goodie bags of food were
given to Snow, James, Tim, GiGi, Stephen, CiCi, Dana and John. An
emergency delivery of food was made to a Stockbridge family of 4, today,
also. Wendy, the Mother, was walking on Hwy 42 going to the Stockbridge
Checkers, Hwy 138, where a friend worked, to borrow money for food. I saw Wendy
walking by the side of the road as I was going home and I offered assistance.
God took care of the rest. Wendy, Tim and John got Gideon New
Testaments. Please continue to pray for the homeless/needy in our community.

Wendy, the woman whose family needed food, that you met last night at
church, and that Jodeco On the Road Food Pantry gave food to, saw
another miracle from God, last night. She didn't take the
hotdogs/buns that you offered to give her, because her electricity was turned
off. Wendy and I prayed at the alter, before I took her back home. When we got
to her home, the lights were on. Praise God!

I saw Angela and her children while they were staying at Calvary
Refuge Center. When Jodeco On the Road Food Pantry/Revelation Celebration
Ministry (RCM) takes food to Calvary, it goes to the homeless and to the
families, like Angela's, staying there. God is good!
When Wayne, RCM, and I took food to Calvary Refuge Center (CRC), about
a month ago, Angela and her two children were there. Ron, Night Manager, CRC,
introduced us to them. She didn't remember me, but, when Ron said that I
delivered 'Mo-joe's chicken tenders' to the shelter, she said, 'oh, yeah|'

Jodeco On the Road Food Pantry (JOTR) emphasis for November 2007 will be
breakfast items: grits, hot/cold cereal, pancake mix, syrup, biscuit mix,
cocoa mix, coffee, sugar, creamer, breakfast bars, raisins, etc.
Thanks to your support, prayers, donations, and, encouragements, JOTR Food
Pantry has been able to provide over 2000 pounds of food to 10 needy
families, a widow, The Potter's House for Women and Helping In His Name
Food Pantry, this month. Also, over 50 New Testaments, 33 "home
made" Jodeco Road UMC Journey kids (ages 3 to 5th grade) Homeless goodie
bags and 17+ homeless goodie bags have been given to the homeless in our
community. Wow!
Praise our Lord for you, and, for His mercy, blessings, provisions and grace!

Tell that child that I said "Thank you, Jesus!"
That's what Lena, an elderly homeless lady on Ponce de Leon, in downtown
Atlanta, told me to tell Journey when I gave her a goodie bag that they had
put together, this morning. Lena also got a Bible. Eight Journey goodie bags and
New Testiments were given out, this morning, to homeless people, from Conley,
Little Five Points to downtown Atlanta. Praise God!

Last Saturday, Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) had a
picnic/praise/worship/Baptism at the Alcovy River (Factory Shoals
Recreation Park). It was awesome. Praise God! Four people were baptized,
and, RCM gave out 3 Bibles. Thanks to Jodeco Road UMC Christian Friends
Sunday School Class's
$140 donation, RCM was able to serve 80 hotdogs, a lot of chili, a ton of
chips
(from Helping In His Name Food Pantry), 24 bottles of water, 3 cases of soda,
lots of candy, and, about 5 boxes of snack cakes. Thanks to Robbie Anne, Jodeco
Road UMC, the
children got Christian bulletins/activity sheets, info on The Armor of God, and,
a picture of Noah's Ark to color. The kids also got crayons, first aid kits,
memo pads and ink pens donated by Henry Medical Center.
Our Lord provided wonderful weather, willing hearts, a song in the air, two 15
passenger Stockbridge Assembly of God church vans, great food, and, good water
(the river was perfect) for the service/baptism. Wow! God is great!
RCM appreciates your support, prayers, encouragements, donations and
participation in our community outreach mission.

Wayne is currently teaching everyone to put on "The Armor of God",
daily, to those who come to our Revelation Celebration Ministry's (RCM) Friday
Night Bible Study meetings. In particular, our Lord has led RCM to a poor Hispanic
family that live in a double wide trailer in Stockbridge, GA. The family comes
to every RCM service. The children have learned to say "Hoorah!", a
lot, as Wayne tells them about The Armor of God, and, God's mercy, provisos and
grace. During our worship/praise/baptism service, last Saturday, at the Alcovy
River (Factory Shoals Recreation Park), I heard the family's an 11 month old baby
say "Hoorah!", several times, as he was learning to walk, and
listening to Wayne talk about The Armor of God, that day. That touched my heart.

Praise God!
Christian Friends Sunday School Class, Jodeco Road UMC, tok up a collection and
gave our homeless/needy ministry $140, yesterday. I think that will also give us
another $75 to buy food for the picnic/Baptism Service scheduled for this
Saturday, 9/22/07, at Factory Shoals Recreation Park. A Christian Friends Sunday
School class member, who works with Helping In His Name Ministires, will provide
chips for the picnic/Baptism Service.
The North Clayton County Gideon's Camp met last Tuesday evening and voted
to purchase 30 New Testiments to give to me to provide to people that RCM's
witnesses too.
Wow! God is good!
Last Friday, Butch and Pete Nixon, First Baptist Church of McDonough, came
by Jodeco Road UMC to pick up a ton of clothing and blankets that had been
donated by a family of the church and from Caroline, who works at Moe-joe's in
Rex. They will hand the donated clothes/blankets out when they go downtown on
the 2d Friday of next month, to witness and to provide food/hygiene items to
approximately 200 homeless people.

Greetings!
Y'all are the greatest! Thank you for all that you do in Christ's name.
Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) Update:
The food, clothing, Christian tracts, sleeping bags, toilet paper, shoes and
Bibles that y'all have provided to Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry/RCM have
opened doors and hearts to Christ.
In June, 4 people accepted Christ as their Saviour. In July, 4 people accepted
Christ as their Saviour. So far in August, 4 people have accepted Christ as
their Saviour. God is good!
This morning, RCM gave out goodie bags/Christian tracts to 5 homeless people,
provided a simple meal for 8 homeless veterans, provided 2 sleeping bags to
homeless veterans, and, provided food for two homeless veterans with families.
Wow!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! What a blessing Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry,
Jodeco Road UMC, Mount Olive Baptst Church, Jodeco Baptist Church, Moe-joe's,
Moye Pharmacy, The Press On Band from The First Baptist Church of
McDonough, and, Stockbridge Assemby of God and it's food pantry have been to RCM.

Ms Jack McCall, Jodeco Road UMC, is a "coupon clipper queen". She has
already donated a lot of food (non perishables and frozen food) to the pantry at
no or little cost (pennies on the dollar) to her.
She'd like for members of Jodeco Road UMC to bring in food coupons to the
church so that she can get food for the pantry at little or no cost. Just One
Example: Recently, she got 35 boxes of Betty Crocker Scalloped Potatoes for
$0.00. They were on sale at Kroger for $1 each and she "found"
thirty-five 50 cent off coupons for the product. Kroger doubled the coupon
amount and she didn't pay anything.
She has done the same thing with 15 boxes of Birds Eye frozen veggies and 10
packages of candy Easter bunnies. Wow! Praise God! Of course, the pantry has
already given out all 35 boxes of the potatoes, the 10 packages of frozen
veggies, and, the Easter bunnies. She paid nothing for those items. God has
answered my prayers.
If she finds bargains at little or no cost in the future, she'll bring in
the receipt along with the food for reimbursement. What a blessing she has
already been and will be in the future.

RCM made food deliveries to The Potter's House for Women and to Haven House,
last week. RCM also provided 20 homeless goodie bags (to 4 work release
prisoners and to 16 homeless people) and 29 kiddy goodie bags to 5 children in a
needy family and to 14 children at Haven House. Sixty Bibles, 80 Christian
tracts and 172 bottles of water were also distributed by RCM last week. God
is good!
The Potter's House for Women Princesses were at RCM's annual golf tournament,
again, last Wednesday. They touched our hearts with their witnesses.
The homeless and kiddy goodie bags that were given out last week were put
together and prayed over by The Potter's House Princesses. What a blessing that
ministry is to the community.
Thank you for your donations, prayers, support and encouragements. The food
emphasis for Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry for this month is breakfast
items (hot/cold cereal, grits, breakfast bars, cream of wheat, jelly,
pancake/biscuit mix, etc). Whatever you can provide would be greatly

As we all know, Memorial Day means a
lot more than cook-outs, beach trips, sleeping late, and a long weekend.
It's about remembering the brave, selfless people who died so that we can enjoy
all of those things. Remember the families of those who have made that
sacrifice for freedom too. We have a lot to be thankful for. And, pray for our
military and leaders. God bless America!
Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) has
been truly blessed with the praise music and inspirational messages provided by the
"Press On" Christian band from The First Baptist Church of McDonough
at our Friday night services.
The Stockbridge Assembly of God provides
RCM with a meeting place for our Friday Night services and a 15 passenger van to
pick up the people that our Lord leads us to for the services.
Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry at Jodeco Road UMC, supported by
Mount Olive Baptist Church, Jodeco Road UMC, Jodeco Baptist Church, Mo-joe's, and,
Stockbridge Assembly of God's food pantry, to name a few supporters, provides
RCM with food to give to the needy.
Praise God for their support!
On Friday, 5/25/07, RCM delivered much
needed cereal to Calvary Refuge Center, delivered 37 pounds of Wendy's
liquid eggs to Haven House (donated by Calvary), and, provided food to 8
homeless people and 4 work release prisoners. God is awesome!

Greetings from Decatur!
God is great!
Yesterday morning, RCM was able to give 3 homeless people on Ponce De Leon
homeless goodie bags, Christian tracts and hygiene kits. Yesterday evening,
Betterway Christian Books donated 60 New Testaments to give to the
golfers/volunteers at RCM's Golf Tournament. Doug Drummond, Mo-joe's, told me,
yesterday, to come by his office next Wednesday to pick up some gift
certificates for the tournament.
This morning, RCM purchased cereal from Super Wal-Mart and from Kroger to
take to Calvary Refuge Center this evening. Tawana Tarno, Executive Director,
Calvary Refuge Center, said that Calvary needed cereal.
All glory to God for his mercy, love, provisions and grace!

Linda wanted to go to the festival in McDonough, on Saturday. So, I took some
golf tournament brochures to the McDonough Welcome Center while we were there. I
told a staff volunteer that Star would be by to get handouts for the
golfers, at a later date. They were really busy.
On Saturday, True Value Hardware Store on Flippen Road donated 2 items (a giant
mechanics tool box and a tool box with 21 tools) to the golf tournament.
On Sunday, I went to Disciples II Bible Study and to R Travis Meng Jr's, Troop
160, Jodeco Road UMC, Eagle Scout Award Ceremony. It was an honor to have
been invited to the ceremony. It was great. The Mengs and Troop 160
have done so much for the pantry, over the years.
The other day, I was thinking about our Brother In Christ, Wayne, and
then read Philippians 4, for last night's Bible Study. Wow!

God is good! Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) made 11 Angel Food deliveries to
the needy, on Saturday, 5/12/07. An emergency delivery was also made
yesterday, Sunday, 5/13/07. Below are pictures of a family that RCM visited
with and delivered food to, on Saturday.
Early, last week, our Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry was just about empty. The
Lord provided approximately 2000 pounds of food to the pantry, at the end of the
week, for RCM's Saturday delivery. Praise God! Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry is
truly a "closet full of miracles".
Last week, 6 people accepted Christ as their Savior, as God led RCM to the
people He wanted us to share the Good News with.
All glory to God for His mercy, miracles, love, provision and grace!
Thank you for your continued support to reach out to the poor in our
community to share His gifts and His word.

This week RCM has provided homeless goodie bags and Jones Memorial UMC hygiene
kits, to nine homeless people. Two homeless women also received Jones
Memorial hand-made sleeping bags. And, five homeless people received Jones
Memorial UMC pillows.
When Lana, a homeless lady living on Ponce De Leon, Atlanta, got a goodie
bag, work gloves, a hygiene kit, a pillow and sleeping bag, this morning, she
said, "God is good all the time" and "thank you Jesus".
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your support, gifts of love,
prayers, encouragements and friendship!

Thank you for a giving heart. Because of your love, support, donations and
prayers, Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) was able to give out six sleeping
bags, 10 goodie bags and over 30 hygiene kits to homeless people
staying close to the intersection of Grove Park Road and Moreland/Hwy 42
intersection (in the Forest Park/Conley area). Most of the the homeless were
women. They were very appreciative and were told that the gifts were made and
given out of love from our Heavenly Father. Praise God!
RCM has given out a total of 9 sleeping bags and 40 hygiene kits since last
Friday night.
Glory be to God for His mercy, love, miracles, provisions and grace!

Yesterday was an awesome day for RCM. God is great! RCM delivered approximately
100 pounds of food to Haven House, gave goodie bags and devotionals to 3
prisoners and 1 community service guy, gave 20 Bibles to Jodeco Baptist Church
for their Angel Food Ministry, took a ton of baked potatoes and salad (left over
from Jodeco Road UMC's Wednesday Night supper) to Calvary Refuge Center, and,
gave hygiene kits (from The First UMC of Jonesboro), goodie bags, Christian
tracts and devotionals to 12 homeless people (4 of the homeless people were in
Stockbridge and 8 of the homeless people were in Forest Park).

Thanks to your support, prayers, donations and encouragements, RCM was able
to make 5 emergency food (from Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry) deliveries over
the past week. One delivery was made to a family of 7, one delivery was made to
a widow, and, 3 deliveries were made to homeless men (Jeff, Noah and Johnnie) in
Stockbridge. They were told about The Good News.
There were approximately 25 people at last Friday night's RCM service. Praise
God! They participated in "washing of feet" and Holy Communion. This
Friday night, 4/13/07, RCM will have a Bible Study at Stockbridge Assembly of
God on N Henry Blvd, beginning at 7:00 PM. This Saturday, 4/14/07, RCM will make
Angel Food Box deliveries to the needy. Join us if you can.

I wanted to let everyone know about our
"Good Friday Service". We met at 7pm with Pizza for dinner, different
than the last supper but after the dinner we had wonderful praise music from
Joey Shedd and the "Press On" band. The we had a "foot
washing"! It was an awesome spirit filled experience. Several people
took the opportunity to wash a friend's feet to show their love. We had
only 25 people there but it was intimate and very fulfilling. Our prayers were
and are with our brother Frankie(who was in Ala. with family) and his
family as they go thru some hard times with health and family issues.
